Tyler Nixon wins in SportsKlub golf debut at Settlers' Ghost
Tyler Nixon shoots a 42 to win his first SportsKlub golf event, while Austin Patrick finishes second and Josh Ayers makes his tournament debut

Tyler Nixon made an impressive first appearance on the Rick Grant Landscaping Orillia Golf Tour, shooting a nine-hole 42 to claim victory at Settlers' Ghost Golf Club.
Nixon finished six strokes ahead of Austin Patrick, who shot a 48, while Jesse Bremner followed closely with a 49. Fellow newcomer Josh Ayers rounded out the four-player field with a 54 in his first SportsKlub golf event.
Playing the back nine at Settlers' Ghost, Nixon put together a consistent round highlighted by a birdie on the par-three 14th hole. His strong performance helped him separate himself from the field and secure a tournament victory in his very first appearance.
Nixon opened with a six on the par-five 10th hole before recording consecutive fours on holes 11 and 12. After a five on the 13th, his birdie on the 14th helped build momentum as he worked toward his final score of 42.
Patrick and Jesse continue their golf seasons
While Nixon took home the victory, returning SportsKlub golfers Austin Patrick and Jesse Bremner continued adding to their tournament experience.
Patrick finished second with a 48, continuing a solid 2026 season that included a third-place finish at the SportsKlub Open at Lake St. George Golf Club, where he shot an 83.
Bremner finished just one stroke behind Patrick with a 49, adding another tournament appearance to a season that included a victory at the Christmas in June Classic and a runner-up finish at the SportsKlub Open.
Both players brought previous SportsKlub golf experience to the event, but it was newcomer Nixon who came away with the lowest score of the afternoon.
Ayers makes his SportsKlub golf debut
Josh Ayers also made his first appearance on the Rick Grant Landscaping Orillia Golf Tour, completing his nine-hole round with a 54.
Ayers recorded a five on the par-five 12th hole and a three on the par-three 16th, highlighting his first tournament appearance.
With both Nixon and Ayers joining the field for the first time, the October 5 event welcomed new faces alongside returning SportsKlub golfers.
