Rick Grant Landscaping 2026 SportsKlub Golf Tour introduces varied formats, local venues, and a community-driven golf experience
The timing is intentional.
As the golf world turns its attention to The Masters Tournament, with the game’s biggest names walking the fairways at Augusta National, SportsKlub is creating its own version of that moment right here in Orillia.
The Rick Grant Landscaping 2026 SportsKlub Golf Tour will officially begin with the 2026 Peach Classic, an opening event designed to mirror the energy and atmosphere of golf’s most iconic weekend while putting a local spin on it.
Set for next weekend, right in the middle of Masters weekend, the Peach Classic will be held in partnership with Anytime Golf, located at 425 West St. N., Unit 4. The facility offers a state-of-the-art indoor golf experience, featuring private simulator bays and a virtual Augusta course powered by GS Pro software.
For players, it’s a chance to step into something different. Instead of traditional fairways and greens, competitors will take on a digital version of Augusta, testing their game on one of the most recognizable layouts in golf, all within an indoor, controlled environment. It’s a modern take on the sport, one that reflects the flexibility and creativity behind the SportsKlub tour format.
The Peach Classic takes place Friday, April 10th at 7 p.m. The deadline to register is Tuesday, April 8th at 9 p.m.
The second event of the season brings things back to the roots of the game. The 2026 Spring Challenge, hosted in partnership with Lake St. George Golf Club, is scheduled for May 29 at 5 p.m. The event will feature a nine-hole format, giving players a traditional outdoor golf experience on one of the area’s most well-known courses.
Together, the two opening events highlight the range of what the SportsKlub Golf Tour aims to offer. From simulator-based competition tied to the biggest weekend in golf, to a classic evening round on a local course, the tour is built around variety. Different formats, different settings, different ways for players to get involved.
That flexibility is central to the structure of the tour. Players can register for events individually as they are announced throughout the season, choosing to compete in one tournament or multiple. There is no requirement to commit to a full schedule, allowing golfers to participate based on availability while still being part of the larger tour experience.
It’s a format designed to lower barriers while maintaining competitive opportunity. For returning players, it offers more chances to build on what has already been established over the past two seasons. For new players, it provides an easy entry point into a growing community that continues to expand each year.
And while the competition continues to evolve, the foundation remains the same.
SportsKlub golf is built around a fun, social, and welcoming environment. Whether players are chasing low scores or simply looking to enjoy a round with friends, the emphasis is on creating an experience that goes beyond the scorecard.
The Rick Grant Landscaping partnership continues to support that vision, backing a tour that reflects both competitive growth and community connection.
Spots for each tournament will be limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Players are required to bring their own clubs, along with golf balls, tees, and appropriate course attire.
Additional Rick Grant Landscaping SportsKlub Golf Tour events will be announced throughout the season.
For now, the focus is on the start. A Masters weekend opener, a return to the course later in May, and the beginning of a tour that is still writing its story.
