Stars align: SportsKlub unveils rosters for Power Bowl 40 All-Star Games
Top vote-getters Josh Ayers and Ethan Barber to captain All-Star squads, while Jamie Lepage and Tyler Richard are honoured with four additional teams

The road to Power Bowl 40 will feature one more night of flag football as SportsKlub has officially unveiled the rosters for its Season 40 All-Star Games, set for Sunday, Nov. 8.
The games will take place the night before Power Bowl 40, giving players from across SportsKlub Orillia Flag Football an opportunity to celebrate the season, share the field with familiar rivals and showcase the talent that has made the milestone campaign memorable.
This year's festivities will feature a Red vs. Blue All-Star Game, along with four additional squads named in honour of two familiar SportsKlub football personalities and legends Jamie Lepage and Tyler Richard.
Ayers and Barber earn captain honours
Wagner Lawn Care Huskers standout Josh Ayers and Orillia Synergy Health Care Monsters star Ethan Barber received the most votes in this season's All-Star voting, earning the opportunity to captain the Red and Blue teams, respectively.
Ayers has been one of Season 40's most versatile performers, recording 901 receiving yards and 12 receiving touchdowns, while adding 488 rushing yards and 35 defensive tackles. He also threw for 14 touchdowns.
Barber has been equally impressive on both sides of the football, collecting 925 receiving yards, 30 tackles and seven interceptions.
The Red All-Stars will be quarterbacked by McLean & Dickey Thunderbolts standout Kayden Halloch, who has thrown for 1,847 yards and 18 touchdowns this season.
Joining Ayers in the receiving group are Tyler Hinds, Ethan Phillips, Bailey Yeoman and Matt Planta.
Phillips leads the group with 1,070 receiving yards and 12 receiving touchdowns, while Yeoman has accumulated 901 receiving yards.
The Red defensive unit features Raygen Hendley, Brynnen Shelswell-Gilbert, Ethan Westbrooke, Jackson Denne, Braeden Price and Paul Laforet.
The Blue All-Stars will be led offensively by CMF Automotive Silver Bombers quarterback Jesse Bremner, who has thrown for 2,072 yards and 24 touchdowns, both tops among quarterbacks in the supplied Season 40 statistics.
Barber will be joined in the receiving group by Vince Pitines, Oswell James, Marcopolo Calvillo and Colby Shaw.
James has accumulated 1,050 receiving yards and 11 receiving touchdowns, while Pitines has surpassed the 1,000-yard receiving mark with 1,005 yards.
Defensively, the Blue squad features Braeden Errico, Matt Bolduc and Jacob Hammill, who leads all players with nine interceptions.
Mitchell Hurtubise, Luke Phillips and Seamus McGee have also earned All-Star selections.
Honouring two SportsKlub personalities
Beyond the traditional All-Star matchup, this year's festivities will celebrate two personalities who have become part of SportsKlub football's identity.
Four additional squads will carry the names of Jamie Lepage and Tyler Richard, with Team Jams Red and Team Jams Blue taking on Team Richard Red and Team Richard Blue.
The teams bring together players from across the eight Season 40 franchises, creating new combinations of teammates and opponents for a night focused on celebrating the SportsKlub community.
Team Jams Blue features Blues quarterback Connor Woodbeck, who has thrown for 1,300 yards and 13 touchdowns, alongside Thunderbolts receiver Dimitri Manouris, who has collected 418 receiving yards.
Team Jams Red includes Huskers quarterback Calvin Hale, who has thrown for 1,528 yards and 13 touchdowns, as well as fellow Huskers Lucas Di Mattia and Doug Flockton.
Team Richard Blue features Silver Bombers quarterback Colton Thompson, who has recorded 1,705 passing yards and 22 touchdowns, along with Augies quarterback Tyler Evans.
Team Richard Red includes Monsters players Lucas Ginger, Jason Connell and Dana Crichton, as well as Huskers representatives Dominick Hill and Tiago Da Silva.
Power Bowl finalists will sit out
While the All-Star selections recognize players for their contributions throughout Season 40, the final lineups will depend on which teams advance to Power Bowl 40.
Any player whose regular-season team qualifies for the championship will become ineligible to participate in the All-Star Games, as they will be preparing to compete for the Power Bowl the following night.
The rule means the announced rosters are subject to change following the playoffs.
The All-Star Games will give players whose championship hopes have ended one final opportunity to take the field, while recognizing the performances, friendships and personalities that have helped shape SportsKlub's 40th football season.
