Spring Season uniforms unveiled

The first look at the threads for the Augies, Huskers, Blues, and Trojans have made quite an impression

SportsKlub Football players are getting their first full look at the uniforms they will wear throughout the 2026 Spring Season, and each design carries a story tied to team history, local roots and the personalities that helped shape the league.

The four returning franchises will once again take the field with identities that go beyond colour schemes. Each jersey blends memory and community into something players can feel connected to the moment they pull it on.

Augies:

The Augies return with a smokey grey colour way inspired by Power Bowl 38 hero Tamara Evans, who caught the game winning touchdown.

Evans is a fan of the Tennessee Volunteers, and the jerseys mirror the Vols 2024 smokey grey look.

The Augies logo this season features three dog paws, a tribute to the team’s recent Power Bowl three peat. The paws are angled to match the positioning of the stars on the Tennessee state flag.

A new captain patch is also introduced across SportsKlub Football this season. The Augies version incorporates the Volunteers checkerboard pattern. Each captain earns one star per season of service. Once a captain reaches five seasons, the C on their jersey turns gold.

Huskers:

The Huskers uniform blends two very different inspirations into one identity.

Scarlet red and silver honour Braeden Price’s favourite team, the Ohio State Buckeyes. The HSK logo uses the team abbreviation styled in the tradition of Big Ten Conference college football branding. The captain patch replaces stars with green buckeye leaves, keeping with the Ohio State theme.

Price remains the only MVP in Huskers franchise history, earning the honour in Season 36 after winning the Power Bowl in Season 35 and returning to the championship game the following season.

Alongside the traditional football look, the Huskers incorporate a playful Sabrina Carpenter inspired logo. The concept nods to her Tears music video and the cornfield scene that mirrors the field backdrop at the West Orillia Sports Complex, the home of SportsKlub Football.

Blues:

The Blues uniforms take a bold turn into pirate territory.

The design references Season 10 when the franchise played under the Buccaneers name and lost a tight Power Bowl by one score. The following season the team became the Colts, a name it carried until Season 36.

The East Carolina University styled pirate imagery reflects the team’s desire to avenge another narrow championship shortfall.

The theme also connects to Orillia itself, with the Orillia Pirate Party transforming the Port of Orillia every Labour Day weekend.

Trojans:

The Trojans uniform bridges generations of local school history.

The jersey combines Park Street Collegiate Institute maroon with subtle hints of Orillia Secondary School black and orange.

The front patch features a Nighthawk wearing Trojan armour, tying together the school that stood on Collegiate Drive from 1961 to 2013 and the school that replaced it in 2015.

Matte metallic logos throughout the uniform are designed to resemble armour plating, reinforcing the Trojan identity while acknowledging the present day Nighthawks.

With the new season approaching, the uniforms serve as more than apparel. They act as a wearable connection to the stories, players and traditions that continue to shape SportsKlub Football each season.
