Ready for Kickoff: Ramara Fall Season Has Arrived

Ramara Flag Football unveils its eight teams ahead of a six-week fall season beginning Sept. 1 and culminating with the Turkey Bowl on Oct. 6.

After helping lead BMR Pro last season, Irelynn Watson is ready for a new chapter. The dynamic playmaker suits up for Cordery Electrical this fall looking to make an immediate impact.

The countdown to kickoff is almost over.

After a successful inaugural spring season that saw local children discover the game of flag football, Ramara Flag Football returns this fall with eight new teams ready to chase the Ramara Turkey Bowl.

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 1 at the Ramara Centre, more than 100 young athletes will take the field over a six-week regular season before the playoffs begin Sept. 29. The season will conclude with the Ramara Turkey Bowl championship night on Oct. 6.

The league continues to grow through the partnership between SportsKlub and the Township of Ramara. This fall's teams feature a fantastic group of community sponsors, dedicated volunteer coaches and excited young athletes eager to represent their colours.

Grand Harbour
