Week 4 of SportsKlub youth flag football delivered its closest finish of the season's final stretch Tuesday night in Ramara.

Pitch Management escaped with a 25-24 victory over the Kiwanis Club of Orillia in a game separated by a single point. Elsewhere, BMR Pro defeated Peggy's Chip Truck 25-12, the Brechin Lions Club earned a 35-7 victory over Byers Equipment Motorsports and Cordery Electrical Contracting topped Grand Harbour 35-27.

With the Turkey Bowl playoffs up next, the final night of regular-season action gave the young players one more chance to fill the stat sheet and make their mark before the postseason begins.

There wasn't much separating Pitch Management and the Kiwanis Club of Orillia.

Pitch Management came away with a 25-24 victory. Both teams found the end zone four times, with the difference ultimately coming down to a single point.

Carter Acebo was involved throughout the Pitch Management offence, throwing for 85 yards and two touchdowns while adding 131 rushing yards and another score. Peggy's Chip Truck found plenty of room to run as well. Grayson McPeake followed up his 155-yard performance from Week 3 with another big night, rushing four times for 160 yards and a touchdown.

Easton Bartlett needed only two carries to produce 100 yards and another score, while Jacob Hancock added 65 rushing yards.

Turkey Bowl playoffs are next

Four weeks of regular-season football are now in the books, and the Turkey Bowl playoffs are up next for SportsKlub's Ramara youth flag football program.

Week 4 provided one last regular-season night full of opportunities for the young players to make plays, whether it was a one-point finish, a long touchdown, an interception or a big run.

Now there are bowls to chase and more football still to play. But just like it has been all season, the bigger part of Tuesday nights is getting everyone on the field, giving kids a chance to contribute and creating the kind of moments they'll be talking about when they come back the next week.
