City and SportsKlub officials working to find makeup date as Week 12 remains on schedule

SportsKlub Baseball Week 11 action has been postponed. A makeup date is expected to be announced later this week.

Sunday's SportsKlub Baseball schedule has been postponed after rain left the fields unplayable.

Week 11 was set to feature the NKD Deer Muskies taking on the Studabakers Beachside Rockies, followed by the Wagner Lawn Care Angels facing the CMF Automotive Metropolitans at Tudhope Park. Instead, the weather had other plans.

SportsKlub staff will now work alongside the City of Orillia to identify a suitable makeup date later this season. An updated schedule will be announced once it has been finalized.

While Sunday's games have been postponed, the season is expected to resume next Sunday with the originally scheduled Week 12 doubleheader at Tudhope Park.

The NKD Deer Muskies are slated to open the day against the CMF Automotive Metropolitans at 11 a.m., before the Studabakers Beachside Rockies meet the Wagner Lawn Care Angels at noon.

With just a handful of weeks remaining in the 15-week regular season, every game carries added significance as teams battle for playoff positioning.

SportsKlub Baseball officials encourage players to watch the league's social media channels and website for updates regarding the Week 11 makeup date and any schedule changes.

The race to the postseason resumes next Sunday — weather permitting.
