Following a week-long break, the playoff atmosphere continued at Rotary Place on Saturday night.

The Famous Archie’s Ice Llamas edged the Studabakers Leprechauns 12–11 in a back-and-forth thriller in Game 3 of the 2026 Arena Series, a contest that featured multiple lead changes, momentum swings, and a finish that had both benches on edge until the final whistle.

Every time one side surged, the other answered. The Leprechauns, backed by Studabakers, were powered offensively by Aiden Baxter and Nolan Inglis, who repeatedly clawed their way back into the game. Baxter struck four times, while Inglis added four of his own. Conner Flannery chipped in with a hat trick to round out the Leprechauns’ 11-goal effort.

Connor James stood between the pipes for the Leprechauns, facing a relentless Ice Llamas attack that kept pressure high all night.

But the Llamas had answers of their own. Mitchell Webb, traded to the Ice Llamas before puck drop, delivered a dominant offensive performance, burying six goals to lead Famous Archie’s squad.

Captain Owen Woolhouse added four goals, while Brayden Price found the back of the net twice, including key tallies during momentum swings that flipped the game.

Waylon Clay got the start in goal for the Ice Llamas and weathered the storm in a game that featured sustained pressure from both sides. Despite surrendering 11 goals, Clay came up with timely saves in the closing minutes to preserve the one-goal lead.

The pace never dipped, the playful physicality between long-time friends stayed high, and the scoreboard never felt safe.

With the 12–11 victory, Famous Archie’s Ice Llamas have won two in a row and carry a 2-1 series lead into Game 4 this Saturday at Rotary Place. Puck drop is 8:45 p.m.
