Persistent rainfall and deteriorating field conditions have forced the postponement of Week 2 in the SportsKlub Baseball season

Sunday’s scheduled matchups at Tudhope Park were expected to feature the start of a three-game series between Wagner Lawn Care and the NKD Muskies, while Studabakers Beachside was set to open a three-game slate against the CMF Automotive Mets.
SportsKlub officials announced the postponement after heavy rain throughout Saturday left the diamond unable to safely host games. A makeup date for the postponed contests is expected to be announced in the coming days.
Despite the delay, SportsKlub Baseball is still set to return next Sunday, May 31, with a pair of games currently on the schedule. CMF Automotive will take on the Studabakers Rockies at 11 a.m., while Wagner Lawn Care is scheduled to face the NKD Deer at 12 p.m.
The postponement marks the first weather-related interruption of the inaugural SportsKlub Baseball season, which opened on May 5th with strong attendance, offensive fireworks, and a high-energy debut at Tudhope Park.
Players are encouraged to keep posted to SportsKlub.ca and SportsKlub social media channels for further updates.
