Fun based Baseball coming to Orillia

SportsKlub is expanding its footprint with the launch of SportsKlub Baseball, a brand-new house-league baseball experience set to debut in Spring 2026.

Built as a three-pitch, lob-toss, house-league format, SportsKlub Baseball blends elements of traditional baseball and slo-pitch to create a version of the game that is accessible, social, and welcoming to everyone, from lifelong players to those who have never picked up a glove before.

For the past 15 years, many SportsKlub athletes have competed together in local leagues designed to prepare teams for high-level, tournament-style competition. That structure created strong rivalries, high standards, and unforgettable moments, but it also revealed a gap in the local sports landscape: a need for a true recreational baseball space, where the focus is participation, fun, and community rather than the pressures of winning. SportsKlub Baseball is designed to fill that gap.

The new league will be a true house league, meaning players will be placed into balanced teams and play in a relaxed, supportive environment where learning, trying, and belonging matter more than wins and losses.

The lob-toss format reduces barriers for newer players, while still giving experienced athletes plenty of opportunities to hit, field, and enjoy the game. Winning isn’t measured by the final score, it’s measured by friendships built, confidence gained, and memories created on the field.
