The undefeated CMF Automotive Silver Bombers rolled in Week 6 of SportsKlub Orillia Flag Football behind Colton Thompson and Ethan Phillips, while the Mariposa Building Services Trojans, Speaking of Wildlife Scouts and Hotshots Sandblasting Augies also collected wins on Monday night at the West Orillia Sports Complex.

Augies defence leads fourth straight victory

Trojans turn takeaways into a 32-22 win

The Mariposa Building Services Trojans and McLean & Dickey Thunderbolts combined for more than 1,000 yards of offense, but Mariposa's ability to create turnovers gave them the edge they needed.
The Trojans generated four takeaways while committing only one giveaway in their 32-22 victory. Their offence finished with 480 yards, including 360 through the air and another 120 on the ground.
Tyler Hinds contributed all over the field, throwing for 135 yards and two touchdowns, rushing for 85 yards and a score and catching two passes for 117 yards and another touchdown. Adam Vastopa caught three passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns, then added two interceptions defensively.

Scouts' defense helps secure 21-7 victory

The Speaking of Wildlife Scouts combined balanced offense with a four-takeaway defensive effort to defeat the Synergy Health Care Monsters 21-7.
Three Scouts threw touchdown passes, with Harrison Laugalys, Jacob Hammill and James Oxley each connecting for a score. Samantha Goodnough led the receiving attack with four catches for 120 yards and a touchdown, while Laugalys and Matt Bolduc also caught touchdown passes.
Hammill made his biggest impact on defense with two interceptions. Lucas Scriver and Bolduc added one interception each as the Scouts finished the night with four takeaways.
The Monsters' touchdown came through Bailey Yeoman, who turned two receptions into 120 yards and a score. Ethan Barber also provided a big-play threat with a 70-yard reception and recorded five flag pulls on defence.
Silver Bombers hit the big plays

The CMF Automotive Silver Bombers made their opportunities count against the Wagner Lawn Care Huskers, scoring on six of nine drives in the 41-14 victory.
Thompson completed six of eight passes for 290 yards and four touchdowns without an interception. Bremner went 5-for-9 for another 145 yards and two touchdowns as CMF finished with 435 passing yards.
