The SportsKlub Arena Series is set to return to the ice this weekend after an unexpected pause, with the Studabakers Beachside Leprechauns and Famous Archie’s Ice Llamas preparing to resume their battle for the Arena Series title.

Game 4 will take place Saturday, March 14 at 8:45 p.m. at Rotary Place following the postponement of last weekend’s game due to a roof leak that forced the cancellation of Saturday night’s matchup.

The Ice Llamas enter the contest holding a 2–1 lead in the series and looking to extend their advantage behind the red-hot play of star forward Owen Woolhouse, who currently leads all players in the series with 12 points through the opening three games.

Not far behind him on the scoresheet is Leprechauns forward Nolan Inglis, who has been a constant offensive threat for the green and gold. Inglis sits second in the series scoring race with 11 points and will look to help his team even the series before it shifts venues next week.

Following Game 4, the Arena Series moves to the Gill Street Community Complex (formerly Brian Orser Arena) for Game 5 on Tuesday, March 17 at 9:30 p.m.

The St. Patrick’s Day showdown carries extra significance in Arena Series history. It marks the first time the championship series will be played on the shamrock holiday since 2024, when the Leprechauns defeated the Ice Llamas in a dramatic Game 7 to capture the title.

This year, the roles may be reversed.

With a series lead already in hand, the Ice Llamas will look to spoil the Leprechauns’ St. Patrick’s Day celebration and move one step closer to the championship.

Fans are encouraged to begin the festivities early at Studabakers ahead of Game 4. Live music begins at 6 p.m., with Irish-themed food, green beer specials and shamrock cocktails setting the stage for a lively pregame atmosphere before puck drop.

With the series heating up and two of the league’s top scorers trading blows, the return of the Arena Series promises a high-energy night as the Ice Llamas attempt to tighten their grip on the series and the Leprechauns fight to keep their championship hopes alive.
